UPSC CSE Result 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE 2025) mains result today. Anuj Agnihotri has topped the competitive exam by securing an All India Rank (AIR) 1. Rajeshwari Suve M and Akansh Dhull have acquired the second and third ranks in the UPSC CSE Main 2025 exam. A total of 958 candidates have qualified for the UPSC CSE 2025 exam.

The UPSC has declared the CSE Final result 2025 on the basis of written exam, interviews, and the merit list. The UPSC prelims exam was conducted on May 25, 2025, while the mains exam was held from August 22 to 31.
The steps to download the UPSC CSE result 2025 are as follows.
According to the official notification, the candidature of 348 recommended candidates have been kept provisional. The UPSC is held every year in three stages, which includes preliminary, main and interview. The process is followed to select officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS) among others.

In a significant achievement, 38 candidates from the Residential Coaching Academy (RCA), Centre for Coaching and Career Planning at Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), have performed remarkably in the UPSC CSE 2025, the results of which were declared today. Notably, four candidates secured positions within the top 50, achieving All India Ranks 7, 14, 24, and 29, and emerged as the top performers from JMI.
Overall, more than 38 candidates from the academy qualified in the examination, securing positions in various All India and Central Services. Among them are 15 women candidates, reflecting JMI’s significant contribution toward promoting equity and inclusivity within the “steel frame of India.”

The Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) has imposed a fine of ₹11 lakh on Vision IAS, operated by AjayVision Education Private Limited, for publishing misleading advertisements related to the UPSC Civil Services Examination results and for “deliberately concealing information”, which allegedly influenced aspirants to enroll in courses costing several lakhs of rupees.
The institute had promoted claims such as “7 in Top 10 and 79 in Top 100 selections in CSE 2023” and “39 in Top 50 selections in CSE 2022”, prominently displaying the names, photographs, and ranks of successful candidates. According to the CCPA, these advertisements violated the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

The Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) has imposed a fine of Rs 15 lakh on Vajirao and Reddy Institute for publishing misleading advertisements regarding the results of the Union Public Service Commission – Civil Services Examination (UPSC CSE) 2023. The authority also observed that the institute had repeatedly violated the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

As per the official UPSC notification, the candidature of 348 recommended candidates has been kept provisional.
“The Centre had reported 1,087 vacancies to be filled through the civil services examination. The UPSC has a facilitation counter near the examination hall in its campus. Candidates can obtain any information/clarification regarding their examinations/recruitments on the working days between 10 am to 5 pm in person or over telephone numbers 23385271/23381125/23098543. Marks will be available on the website within 15 days from the date of declaration of result," the statement said." the official UPSC notice read.

The final UPSC CSE result 2025 has been announced online. The UPSC 2025 final result is prepared based on the marks secured by candidates in the Civil Services Mains examination and the IAS Personality Test (interview). The final merit list includes the names and roll numbers of all candidates who have been selected.

The government informed the Rajya Sabha that no incidents of question paper leaks have been reported in recruitment examinations conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) over the past five years.
The statement was made by Union Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Jitendra Singh, while responding to a question raised by Rajya Sabha member Manoj Kumar Jha.
