Subscribe NowThe registrations for the Union Public Service Commission Civil Services Examinations (UPSC CSE) Main 2025 will start today. Candidates who have cleared the preliminary examinations are eligible to update details and pay the application fee of Rs 200 on the portal. The UPSC CSE Mains 2025 application window will remain open from June 16 till June 25, 2025.
All applicants have to pay the registration fee for admission to the CSE Main examination, except female, persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBD), Scheduled Castes (SC), and Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates. People from the reserved categories have to submit valid document proof.
If applicable, candidates can also update their details regarding submission or updation of scribe, any assistive device, or requirement of the question paper in larger font. Candidates who have changed their name, or have a different name from their matriculation, can submit their gazette notification during this window.

UPSC CSE Mains registration
The official website, upsc.gov.in, has released the list of candidates who have cleared the preliminary examination, and are eligible for the UPSC CSE Main 2025 registration. The results of four candidates have been withheld, in the light of ongoing court cases.
Earlier, the commission also mentioned that in the case of any query, candidates may approach UPSC facilitation counter, located at Shahjahan Road, New Delhi. Additionally, candidates may also contact the facilitation counter via telephone from 10 am to 5 pm.
Moreover, the marks, cutoff marks, and answer keys of CSE Preliminary examination will be uploaded on the official website, upsc.gov.in, only after the completion of the entire process of the CSE as well as that of the Indian Forest Service Examination. Only after the declaration of the final result will the marks and cutoffs be updated on the website, UPSC had informed.
