UPSC mains admit card 2026 out at upsc.gov.in; how to download

Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) has released the UPSC mains 2026 admit card on the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in. To download the hall ticket, applicants need to enter the details including mobile number/registration number/email and password.

This UPSC CSE mains hall ticket is for applicants who are going to appear for the exam which is scheduled from August 21 to 30, 2026.

The details mentioned on the UPSC CSE admit card 2026 are the name of the candidate, examination name, registration number, photograph and signature of candidate, roll number, father number, examination centre, examination date and time and gender.

UPSC Mains Admit Card 2026: Steps to download

To download the UPSC CSE mains e-admit card, follow the steps given below:

• Visit the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in
• On the homepage, click on the “'e-Admit Card: Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2026” link
• Now, click on the ‘login’ on the right side of the corner
• Enter the details, including mobile number/registration number/email and password
• Submit the details
• The UPSC CSE admit card 2026 will be displayed on the screen
• Download the admit card PDF and take a printout for future use

UPSC CSE Mains Exam 2026: Subject and timings

The examination will be conducted on August 21, 23, 29 and 30, 2026. On August 21, the forenoon session from 9 am to 12 noon will have a paper-I essay, with no paper scheduled in the afternoon. On August 22, paper-II general studies-I will be held in the forenoon session, followed by paper-III general studies-II in the afternoon.

On August 23, applicants will appear for paper-IV general studies-III in the forenoon and paper-V general studies-IV in the afternoon. On August 29, paper-A Indian language will be held in the forenoon, followed by paper-B english in the afternoon. On August 30, paper-VI optical subject paper-I will be conducted in the forenoon session, while paper-VII optical subject paper-II will be held in the afternoon.
