UPSC NDA 2021: Students demand postponement of exam due to COVID-19
A large number of students took the various social media platforms pressing their demand to postpone the NDA 1 2021 exam due to a rise in the total number of COVID-19 cases.
NEW DELHI: Students took to social media to request the Union Public Service Commission to postpone the UPSC NDA 1, 2021 exam in wake of the rising number of COVID-19 cases across the country. Applicants who registered for the NDA 1 2021 exam which is scheduled to take place on April 18 took to Twitter and urged various government authorities to look into their demand to postpone the exam.
The demand to postpone the NDA 1 2021 exam gained momentum after Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan announced that the NEET PG 2021 exam which was to be held on April 18 has been postponed.

A number of students urged the UPSC, PMO and other top government authorities to put their safety at the forefront and postpone the NDA 1 2021 exam as there has been a spike in the total number of COVID-19 cases in the past few days.
Some of the students expressed their apprehension as to how they would reach the NDA exam centre as it was in another city and since weekend lockdown has also been imposed.
About the NDA 1 2021 exam
The NDA exam is conducted to recruit candidates for admission into Air Force and Army wings of the National Defence Academy and Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC).
