NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Committee (UPSSSC) has extended the registration deadline for the Junior Engineer (JE) mains exam 2024 till, July 13. Interested candidates who have not yet applied can fill out the UPSSSC JE 2024 application form through the official website, upsssc.gov.in.

Earlier, the UPSSSC JE 2024 registration deadline was June 28. Candidates will have to pay Rs 25 as application fees to register for the UPSSSC JE recruitment 2024.

UPSSSC JE Recruitment 2024: Vacancy details

As per the official notification, the UPSSSC recruitment drive 2024 aims to fill a total of 4,016 junior engineer positions including 3,541 general selections and 28 posts for special selection. The commission has increased the number of positions available for JE Civil.

Initially, there were approximately 2,847 vacant posts, comprising 2,819 posts for Junior Engineer/Assistant Development Officer (General) and 28 posts for Junior Engineer Civil (Special Selection). Now, UPSSSC has added 1,528 vacancies for this position.

UPSSSC JE Recruitment 2024: Eligibility criteria

Candidates can check the UPSSSC JE recruitment educational qualifications and age limit in the table given below-

Educational qualification

  • PET Score Card
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering

Age limit

18 to 40 Years

Candidates of reserved category will get relaxation in the maximum age limit as per the rules. Only those who appeared and cleared the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2023 exam will be able to register themselves for the UPSSSC JE Civil Mains 2024. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification round.
