UPSSSC extends PET 2026 application window after aspirants report OTP and website issues during registration

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) is going to close the registration window for the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) today, September 1, 2026, but several applicants have taken to social media to report difficulties with the UPSSSC website, upsssc.gov.in.
Applicants have alleged that the website has not been functioning properly for several days and that they are unable to complete the one time registration (OTR) process required for filling the PET application form.
Several posts shared on social media also mention the OTP verification is not working, with aspirants saying that OTPs are not being received despite repeated attempts. The issue has prompted candidates to request the commission and Uttar Pradesh authorities to extend the application deadline.
