UPTET 2019 Notification Released; Applications to start from Nov 1

NEW DELHI, OCTOBER 17: Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) has released the notification for UPTET (Uttar Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test) 2019 on October 16. The notification contains all the major events dates, eligibility, fee, application form link, syllabus, pattern, etc. According to the official notification, candidates can start filling the UPTET application form from November 01, while the exam will be conducted on December 22, 2019, and results will be declared on January 21, 2020. The objective type examination will be conducted for 150 minutes and there will be no negative marking. The UPTET exam will be conducted to recruit candidates for Primary school as well as Secondary school teachers.

UPTET 2019 Eligibility Criteria -
The minimum age limit for candidates to apply is 18 years while there is no maximum age limit.
Educational Qualification - For Primary Teacher (Class 1st-5th)
Senior secondary with minimum 50% marks and have passed or appearing in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education or in the final year of B.El.Ed or appearing in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education OR Graduation + B.Ed final year appearing or passed.
Educational Qualification - Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6th-8th)
Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 Years Diploma in Elementary Education OR appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) OR appearing in (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE OR have passed or appeared in the final year of B.El.Ed OR Senior Secondary with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed OR appearing in B.Ed (The minimum percentage in graduation can vary from 45 to 50%.)
Candidates are required to thoroughly read the complete notification and instructions before applying.
The UPTET certificate will be given to candidates who qualify the UPTET exam, the validity of the certificate will be 5 years.
