Uttarakhand BTech Admission 2026: Registration, choice filling begins; selection based on JEE Main

The Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University (VMSBUTU) has started online registration and choice filling for Uttarakhand BTech Admission 2026 for the academic year 2026–27. Eligible candidates can register for the VMSBUTU BTech counselling process and fill in their preferred programmes and colleges through the official website, uktech.ac.in.

For Uttarakhand BTech counselling online registration, candidates need to enter their Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) registration number and password. For lateral entry admissions, candidates have to enter their personal details.

The university will close the online registration window for Uttarakhand BTech counselling for undergraduate (UG) engineering admissions on May 31. The choice filling process will close on June 1.

As per the Uttarakhand BTech counselling schedule, the seat allotment result will be announced on June 6, 2026. Candidates will be able to select the Freeze, Float, or Withdraw option from June 6 to June 7, while reporting to the allotted institute will take place from June 8 to June 10, 2026.

Uttarakhand BTech Admission 2026: Eligibility criteria

Candidates who have completed a Class 12 or equivalent examination with at least 45% of aggregated marks (40% for reserved category candidates) are eligible to apply for Uttarakhand BTech admission 2026.

Candidates should have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one optional subject from Chemistry, Computer Science, Biology, or Biotechnology.

Candidates must also have appeared for JEE Main 2026 and secured a valid rank.
