UKPSC Lower PCS 2024 correction window opens; direct link, selection process

NEW DELHI: Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has opened the UKPSC Lower PCS 2024 correction window today, on January 10. Aspirants who have registered for the Uttarakhand Combined State Civil, Lower Subordinate Services Examination 2024 will be allowed to make changes in their application form through official portal.

The correction window to make changes in the UKPSC application form will be available on the official website, ukpscnet.in, till January 20. In order to make corrections, candidates will have to login using mobile number/email and password.

Last week, the UKPSC also announced the exam dates for various Sub-inspector (SI) vacancies. As per the schedule, the recruitment exams will be held on January 12. The UKPSC Lower PCS 2024 exam will be conducted to fill up 113 posts in the department.

UKPSC Lower PCS 2024: Selection process

There will be three stages of selection process for the UKPSC Lower PCS 2024 examinations . In the first phase, candidates will have to qualify the preliminary examination, which will consist of objective-type questions covering topics such as general knowledge, current affairs, and mental ability.

Those who qualify the prelims exam will have to appear in the descriptive written test on subjects such as general studies and Hindi. Candidates will be given three hours duration to attempt the questions carrying 1,500 marks.

In the final rounds, shortlisted candidates will have to attend an interview round. Based on their performance in the written and interview rounds, the final merit list will be prepared by the commission.

Candidates can make corrections to their application form by following the given steps.

• Go to the UKPSC official website, ukpsc.net.in.
• On the home page, click on to the UKPSC Lower PCS 2024 correction window link.
• A new window will appear on the screen where you have to enter your login details.
• After typing login credentials, click on submit.
• Your application will be displayed.
• Make corrections to it and press submit again.
• Download the page and print the copy for future need.
