Students at Victoria University’s Delhi NCR campus can access semester exchange, transfer and postgraduate study opportunities in Australia

Victoria University has announced a new Global Mobility Program for students at its Delhi NCR campus, giving them the option to continue part of their studies in Melbourne, Australia.
The initiative is aimed at students looking for international exposure and flexible study opportunities while pursuing globally recognised degrees. Through the programme, students will be able to explore semester exchanges, transfer options for undergraduate studies and pathways to postgraduate education in Australia.
The programme is part of its broader effort to strengthen academic links between India and Australia in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
As part of the programme, undergraduate students studying at the India campus can spend up to two academic blocks at a Melbourne campus through a semester exchange option. Students choosing this pathway will continue to pay tuition fees at India campus rates, although travel, accommodation and living expenses will have to be managed separately.

The university has also introduced a transfer pathway for students who complete one or two years of undergraduate study in India. Under this option, students can move to Melbourne to finish the rest of their degree and graduate from Australia.
In addition, students completing undergraduate studies at the India campus will also have the opportunity to pursue postgraduate programmes at Melbourne campuses through a dedicated progression pathway.
Admissions under these pathways will depend on merit-based assessments conducted by VU Australia and the number of seats available for each cohort.
The university has also announced the VU Block Model India Scholarship, under which eligible students can receive up to Rs 3 lakh as tuition fee waiver every year for the full duration of their course.

The scholarship will be available for undergraduate programmes in Business, Data Science, IT and Cyber Security, along with postgraduate courses such as Business Administration (Global) and Applied Information Technology. High-performing students applying for the September 2026 intake will automatically be considered for the scholarship.
Victoria University is also promoting its VU Block Model through the initiative. Under this teaching approach, students focus on one or two subjects at a time in shorter study blocks instead of handling several subjects simultaneously. The model encourages interactive learning, smaller class sizes and continuous assessment.
