WBJEEB ANM GNM 2026: The exam will be conducted in offline (pen-and-paper) mode from 12 pm to 1:30 pm. Apply by April 19
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has started the registration process for the Auxiliary Nursing & Midwifery (Revised) and General Nursing & Midwifery (ANM(R) and GNM 2026). Eligible candidates can apply for the WB ANM GNM 2026 through the official websites at wbjeeb.in.
Candidates seeking admission to nursing diploma courses in the state can apply for the WBJEEB ANM GNM 2026 examination till April 19.
As per the schedule, the WBJEEB will conduct the ANM GNM 2026 exam in an offline (pen-and-paper) format on June 14, from 12 pm to 1:30 pm.
The WB ANM GNM application correction window will open on April 21, and candidates will be allowed to edit their forms till April 23. The admit card for the WBJEEB ANM GNM exam will be issued on June 4.

To complete the WB ANM/GNM application form, SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, EWS, and orphan candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 300, while all other candidates need to pay Rs 400.
WB ANM GNM Application 2026: Eligibility
For the ANM course, only female candidates are eligible to apply, while both male and female candidates can apply for the GNM courses.
Candidates who have passed Class 12 with at least 40% marks from a recognised board are eligible to fill the WB ANM GNM 2026 application form. Candidates should also be able to read, write, and speak Bengali or Nepali. There is no upper age limit to apply for the WBJEEB ANM GNM exam 2026.

WB ANM GNM exam pattern 2026
The WB ANM GNM exam will include subjects like life science, physical science, basic English, mathematics, general knowledge, and logical reasoning. It will have 100 questions for a total of 115 marks.
The paper will have two types of questions: Category 1 will have 85 questions of 1 mark each, and Category 2 will have 15 questions of 2 marks each. As per the WB ANM GNM marking scheme, one-fourth mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer in Category 1.
The entrance test is for admission to ANM and GNM courses in government and private institutes in West Bengal. The duration of the ANM course is two years, while the GNM course is three years.
