WB JELET 2026 answer key out at wbjeeb.nic.in; raise objections by June 26

WB JELET is conducted for lateral entry admission into the 2nd year or 3rd semester of UG engineering, technology, and pharmacy courses.
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has released the provisional answer key for the Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry, JELET 2026. Candidates who appeared for the entrance examination conducted on June 13 can now check and download model answer key by logging in to wbjeeb.nic.in.
Those who are not satisfied with any of the answers can challenge the provisional answer key through the online portal by June 26, 11:59 pm. Official notice highlights that there is no restriction on number of questions challenged, however, all objections must be submitted in a single session. A non-refundable processing fee of Rs 500 per question challenged must be paid online through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.

Official notice reads, "If any candidate is not satisfied with the published Provisional/ Model Answer Keys, the Candidate may challenge the same through the online user interface available on the portal by 26th June 2026 (up to 11:59 p.m.)"
How to check WB JELET answer key 2026
- Visit the official WBJEEB JELET website wbjeeb.nic.in
- On homepage, click on the "JELET 2026 Answer Key" or "Model Answer Key" link
- Log in using your application number, password/date of birth, and security pin
- JELET 2026 answer key will be displayed on the screen
- Download the answer key PDF
WBJEEB said that all objections will be examined by subject experts. No further requests, communications, or appeals regarding challenged answers will be entertained against final answer key.

The board also clarified that the final scores and ranks will be prepared based on the reviewed and final answer keys. Official notice reads, "The candidates are advised to see the symbol presented at the lower right corner of Page no 7 of your Question Booklet; you have allotted. Look at the symbol which is appeared on the said page and interpret/decode the series of Question Booklet the candidate belongs to."
JELET is conducted for admission to the second year (third semester) of four-year bachelor's degree programmes in engineering, technology, and pharmacy colleges across West Bengal.
