WB NEET UG 2026 Counselling: 10,085 on MBBS, BDS list for round-1; top fees touch Rs 1 crore

WB NEET UG 2026: Eligible candidates can fill their preferred choices of MBBS and BDS programmes and colleges through WB NEET UG choice filling facility at wbmcc.nic.in by 4 pm today.
The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) has published the WB NEET UG 2026 counselling 2 round 1 provisional merit list for admission to MBBS and BDS programmes. A total of 10,085 candidates have been added in the merit list, marking them eligible for the round 1 counselling process. NEET UG Couselling 2026 LIVE.
Eligible candidates can participate in the West Bengal National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (WB NEET UG) 2026 round 1 choice filling process through the official website at wbmcc.nic.in.
The WB NEET UG 2026 counselling round 1 choice filling facility will be active until 4 pm today.
The WBMCC will announce the WB NEET UG 2026 round 1 seat allotment results on August 31 after 4 pm for admission to MBBS and BDS programmes.
Those who will be allotted medical colleges through the round 1 seat allotment list, will have to report to the allocated institute on September 1, 2, 3, and 5, from 10 am till 4 pm.
Candidates should have to bring their original requisite documents, college fee receipt, and other required documents during the college reporting.
WB NEET UG Counselling 2026: Private medical college fees
The government has announced the fee structure of various private MBBS and BDS colleges.
According to the approved fee structure for private medical colleges , IQ City Medical College charges a management quota fee of Rs 10.94 lakh per semester for MBBS admissions, which amounts to nearly Rs 1 crore for nine semesters or the full academic programme duration.
Whereas, KPC Medical College and Hospital charges a state quota fee of Rs 2 lakh per semester for MBBS programme, and Rs 8 lakh per semester under the management quota.

Candidates can download the WB NEET UG round 1 seat allotment list by following the steps given below.
- Go to the official website at wbmcc.nic.in.
- Click on the WB NEET UG 2026 counselling link.
- A new window will open.
- Click on the revised provisional merit list.
- The WB NEET UG round 1 merit list will appear on the screen.
- Check your eligibility.
- Download the merit list.
