The Department of Higher Education will start the registration process for the West Bengal Centralised Admission Process (WBCAP) 2025 tomorrow, June 18 at 2 pm for admissions to undergraduate programmes in colleges and universities. Eligible candidates will be able to apply for West Bengal UG admissions 2025 on the official portal, wbcap.in.
WBCAP 2025 will serve as a single window for admission in 460 government and government-aided general degree colleges.
As per the minimum eligibility criteria, any Indian student who has qualified Class 12 or equivalent exam from any recognised board can apply. Applicants can opt for a maximum of 25 programmes. There is no application fee for West Bengal CAP 2025. The last date to fill the free-of-cost application form is July 1, 2025.
Education minister Bratya Basu launched the CAP portal. Recently, he informed that the admission process will commence before June 19, denying that there has been any delay.

August 1, 2025 | Publication of institution-wise and course/programme-wise vacancy lists across the state after completion of phase 1 |
