The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) will announce the Uchcha Madhyamik (Class 12) result 2026 today, May 14, 2026 on the official website of WBCHSE at wbbse.wb.gov.in. This year, around 7.10 lakh students appeared for the WBCHSE higher secondary examination 2026. Out of the total, nearly 6,35,864 students appeared for the fourth semester exams, while others appeared for supplementary and old syllabus examinations.
The WBCHSE 12th scorecard 2026 includes important details such as the student’s name, roll number, registration number, subject-wise marks, total marks obtained, grades, division, and qualifying status.
The board has released the WBCHSE Class 10 result 2026 on May 8, 2026. This year, the overall pass percentage was 86.83%. A total of 131 students featured in the top 10 merit list this year. Boys outperformed girls in the examination, with boys securing nearly 89.5% pass percentage, while girls recorded around 84.5%.

Students can also check the WBCHSE Uchcha Madhyamik result 2026 through SMS services. To receive the result on mobile phones, candidates need to type the message in the prescribed format: WB12<space>Roll Number, and send it to 5676750 or 58888.
To pass the WBCHSE Class 12 exam 2026, students must secure at least 30% marks in each subject. Candidates must obtain the qualifying marks separately in theory and practical/internal assessments wherever applicable.
Last year, the WBCHSE Class 12 recorded an overall pass percentage of 90.79%. Male students performed better than female students in the WB HS Result 2025. The pass percentage for boys was 93%, whereas for girls it was 88.88%. Around 72 students secured positions in the top 10 merit list in the WBCHSE HS result 2025.
