NEW DELHI: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board will close the objection window for the Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheet of WBJEE 2024 tomorrow, May 24. Candidates who appeared for the entrance examination can raise objections against their response sheet through the official website - wbjeeb.nic.in.
Candidates have to pay a one-time non-refundable fee of Rs 500 for each response; otherwise, no claim will be reviewed if the fee payment is not made. The facility to claim the response for review is available till 11:59 pm.
The WBJEE OMR objection fee will have to be paid online through net banking, debit or credit card. Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to raise objections against the WBJEE OMR sheet 2024.
For category-I and category-II questions, where only one option is correct, responses are displayed as A, B, C, or D. Unanswered questions are marked as "-". If multiple answers are provided, the response is indicated as "*", as stated in the notification.
The board will not accept or entertain any requests for objections after the deadline. The board will review all claims and decide on the matter. Scores and ranks will be calculated based on the final reviewed responses.
The WBJEE 2024 exam was held on April 28 at various exam centres across the state. WBJEE Paper 1 (Mathematics) was conducted from 11 am to 1 pm, and Paper 2 (Physics and Chemistry) from 2 pm to 4 pm.
