NEW DELHI: West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board has announced that it will conduct the WBJEE 2024 exam on April 28 for admission to engineering, technology, pharmacy and architecture courses. The WBJEE 2024 information bulletin has been uploaded on the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in.
The WBJEE 2024 application process will begin in the 4th week of December and the results will be declared in the 3rd week of May. The exam will be conducted as OMR-based Common Entrance Examination for undergraduate admission at different universities and colleges in West Bengal.
The WBJEE 2024 paper 1 mathematics will be held from 11 am to 1 pm and paper 2 physics and chemistry will be conducted from 2 pm to 4 pm on April 28.
Candidates appearing in both WBJEE paper-1 and paper-2 will be eligible for a General Merit Rank (GMR) and a Pharmacy Merit Rank (PMR). Such candidates will also be considered for admission in all courses of engineering and pharmacy.
Candidates who are interested in applying should fulfill the eligibility criteria given below.
Citizenship: Students should be a citizen of India or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) subject to approval of the competent authority. OCI candidates will be eligible for only unreserved seats in the All-India Quota (AIQ).
Qualifying exam: Students should have passed Class 12 or its equivalent examination before 2024 or should be appearing in the Class 12 or its equivalent examination in 2024.
Age limit: The lower age limit is 17 years as of December 21, 2024. A candidate should have been born on or before 31.12.2007. There is no upper age limit for appearing in the examination.
While filling the WBJEE application form 2024, candidates are required to upload JPG, JPEG images of recent colour photograph with size 10 to 200 KB and signature from 4 to 30 KB.
