WBJEE 2025 information bulletin out; registration fee reduced for some; application date 'later'

NEW DELHI: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has published the WBJEE information bulletin 2025 for the common entrance test (CET). The WBJEE exam 2025 will be conducted on April 27 for admission into engineering, technology, pharmacy, and architecture courses.
The board has announced the WBJEE exam date 2025 earlier, however, the registration has not yet started. “Any application not in compliance with the conditions specified in the Information Bulletin is liable to be rejected,” the WBJEE information bulletin 2025 read.
The WBJEE registration last date will be announced later along with the complete schedule.

The board has reduced the WBJEE application fees for third gender and female candidates from Rs 300 to Rs 200.

The WBJEEB will conduct the WBJEE paper 1 for mathematics and paper 2 for physics and chemistry. Paper 1 and 2 will be administered in two separate shifts - shift 1 from 11 am to 1 pm and shift 2 from 2 pm to 4 pm.
Candidates appearing in both WBJEE paper 1 and 2 will be eligible for a General Merit Rank (GMR) and a Pharmacy Merit Rank (PMR), which will be used for admission in engineering and pharmacy. Those opting to appear only in paper 2 will be eligible for pharmacy admission, except at Jadavpur University. Candidates appearing only in paper 1 will be not allotted any rank.
