NEW DELHI: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) will commence the registration and choice-filling facility for the mop-up round of the WBJEE counselling 2024 today, August 5, for admission to engineering, other programmes. Eligible aspirants will be able to apply for the counselling on the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in. The last date to register and fill choices for this round is August 7.

As per the eligibility criteria for the mop-up round of counselling, the following candidates can apply:

  • Candidates who have been allotted seats and paid the acceptance fee in either round 1 or round 2.
  • Not allotted seats in any round
  • Not registered earlier
  • All registered candidates except those who have withdrawn a seat from the e-counselling system due to various reasons during previous rounds such as on the grounds of eligibility or similar cancellations.

While the already registered candidates will be required to pay a fee of Rs 200 and confirm their willingness to participate in the mop-up round, the new applicants will have to pay Rs 1,000. Moreover, all participants will have to submit fresh choices of colleges and courses.

According to the counselling schedule, students will be able to lock their submitted choices on August 7. The mop-up round seat allotment result will be published on August 9 based on the options submitted by the candidates.

WBJEE Counselling 2024: Registration, choice-filling process

  • Candidates must provide necessary personal details, academic details, bank account details (in case of any refund), address, etc.
  • Candidates must provide their application number or roll number
  • Candidates must provide the passing status, total marks and obtained marks in English of Class-10, Class 12, and Class 12 physics, mathematics, chemistry, biotechnology, biology, computer science, computer application, eectronics or information technology, informatics practices, technical vocational subject, agriculture, engineering graphics, business studies, entrepreneurship, English.

After the payment of the registration fee, applicants will be able to view all colleges and courses available to them according to their eligibility criteria. Students are advised to select at least 20 choices.
