Swami Atmapriyananda, Swami Shastrajnananda, Swami Tattwasarananda and Ramya Tarakad Venkateshwaran appointed with immediate effect

The West Bengal government has appointed four individuals as members of the West Bengal Central School Services Commission (WBCSSC), with immediate effect. The appointments were made through an order issued by the School Education Department (secondary branch).
The order was issued "in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 3(4) of the West Bengal School Service Commission Act, 1997." As per the notification, the appointments will remain in effect "until further orders."
The four appointees are Swami Atmapriyananda, Swami Shastrajnananda, Swami Tattwasarananda, Ramya Tarakad Venkateshwaran. The order stated that their terms and conditions of service will be governed by the provisions of the West Bengal School Service Commission Act, 1997 and the rules framed under it.
Swami Atmapriyananda, Pro-Chancellor and Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute (RKMVERI), has been appointed as a member. Swami Shastrajnananda, Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Narendrapur, Kolkata, has also been appointed to the commission.
Swami Tattwasarananda, Trustee of Ramakrishna Math (Belur Math), Governing Body Member of Ramakrishna Mission (Belur Math), and Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture (Gol Park, Kolkata), is the third appointee.
Ramya Tarakad Venkateshwaran, Professor, Strategic Management Group, Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta, is the fourth person appointed as a member of the WBCSSC.

The appointments have been with immediate effect. The order also specified that the members' service conditions will be governed by the West Bengal School Service Commission Act, 1997 and the rules framed under the legislation.
The notification further stated, "All concerned are being informed accordingly. This order is issued with the approval of the competent authority of this Department.”
