WB JECA 2025 counselling schedule out for MCA admission; registration from December 12

WB JECA Counselling 2025: Candidates can register for counselling on wbjeeb.nic.in. Round 1 seat allotment result will be announced on December 17.
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has announced the round 1 counselling schedule for WB Joint Entrance for Computer Applications (WB JECA 2025). As per the schedule, the WB JECA 2025 counselling registration link will be hosted on the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in, on December 12.
According to the notification issued by WBJEEB, all candidates who have cleared the JECA 2025 exam and secured a rank (GMR) are eligible to register for counselling. The last date to register for the counselling is December 15.
The WB JECA counselling will be conducted online and will include the following process: registration, choice filling, seat allotment, payment of the acceptance fee, and provisional admission.
Choice filling and seat locking will close on December 15, and the round 1 seat allotment result will be announced on December 17.

The West Bengal JECA counselling will proceed in two rounds: round 1 -allotment and round 2 - upgradation. Registration will open only at the start of round 1; candidates who miss this window will not be considered for seat allotment.
To register for the WB JECA counselling, candidates will have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 500. After the WB JECA round 1 allotment result is declared, candidates should pay Rs 5,000 as an acceptance fee.
Candidates who were not allotted a seat in round 1, those who opted for upgradation, and those whose round 1 allotment was cancelled are eligible for WB JECA round 2 counselling.
WB JECA Counselling 2025: Documents required
In a recent notification, the WB JEE board has released detailed instructions and a list of documents to be submitted during the physical reporting.
Candidates should carry original and self-attested copies of the documents below;
- Class 10, 12, and undergraduate mark sheets
- Domicile certificates
- Category certificates
- Unique allotment ID
WBJEEB also clarifies that vacant seats in reserved categories (Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes-A (OBC-A), OBC-B, Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Persons with Disabilities (PwD)) will not be converted into unreserved seats in any round.
