The West Bengal MBBS 2021 counselling process will fill 4,150 MBBS and 550 BDS seats. Medical aspirants who have met the NEET qualifying cut off 2021 can register and apply online for West Bengal NEET admissions when the counselling will begin on the official website.
The West Bengal NEET counselling 2021 will be conducted in two rounds, with a mop-up round conducted if needed. The seats for West Bengal MBBS admission 2021 will be allocated based on the choices, merit rank, and availability of seats.
Only the candidates who fulfill the West Bengal MBBS/BDS eligibility, domicile criteria can take admission in 27 medical and 6 dental colleges in the state.
The West Bengal NEET domicile criteria for 2021
The NEET aspirants and their parent/s must be domiciled in the State of West Bengal to be eligible for State quota at the West Bengal MBBS/BDS 2021.The candidates need to download the domicile certificate proforma from the counseling website www.wbmcc.nic.in and fill it out according to the following:
Proforma a1: Certificate of residence/domicile for candidates residing in the West Bengal continuously for 10 years or more
Proforma a2: Certificate of residence for candidates residing continuously in the West Bengal for the past 10 years and having passed a 10+2 exam in the state
Proforma b: Residence/Domicile Certificate for candidates who have not lived in the state of West Bengal continuously for 10 years or more, but whose parents are permanent residents of West Bengal with a residence address in West Bengal, and living continuously for 10 years or more in West Bengal.
