NEW DELHI: The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG 2025) exam is scheduled to be held on May 4, 2025. Medical aspirants seeking admission to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) courses in government and private medical colleges across India must meet the NEET UG 2025 cut-off to qualify for admission.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has begun the NEET UG 2025 registration process. Medical aspirants can register for the NEET UG 2025 till March 7 through the new official website at neet.nta.nic.in. The NEET UG 2025 exam will be conducted in a single day and in a single shift from 2 PM to 5 PM in pen-paper mode.
Based on their NEET UG 2025 score, medical aspirants can secure admission to 15% All India Quota (AIQ), 85% State Quota, deemed and central universities, private medical colleges, as well as All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) institutes and Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) colleges.
Recently, the testing agency notified that NEET UG 2025 scores will also be valid for admission to Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH) courses for the 2025-26 academic session.
The NEET UG 2025 cut-off is divided into two categories: qualifying marks and admission cut-off. The NEET UG qualifying marks are the minimum scores required to be eligible for NEET counselling, based on category-wise percentiles.
NEET UG 2025 admission cut-offs are minimum ranks or marks required for securing a seat in MBBS and BDS courses across different quotas, including All India Quota (AIQ), State Quota, deemed universities, private colleges, AIIMS, and JIPMER.
