Will JEE Main 2020 and NEET be postponed? MHRD and NTA to give a decision soon!

NEW DELHI: The Director general of NTA, Vineet Joshi, is heading a meeting to review the situation and will soon come up with a decision on JEE Main and NEET 2020. Union HRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal had constituted a committee yesterday, headed by NTA director for analysing the situation on whether it would be possible to conduct the JEE Main and NEET in July. The committee will hand over its decision by today evening.

Considering the alarming rise in Covid-19 cases across the country, there are strong possibilities that both JEE Main and NEET will be postponed again till August. As per the current schedule, JEE Main will be conducted from July 18-23 and NEET on July 26.
Students around the country are demanding postponement of JEE and NEET until the situation improves. Academicians and parents are too in favour of not holding the exams amidst the rising coronavirus cases.
JEE Main admit card 2020 for registered candidates is likely to be released in a day or two, if the exams will be conducted from July 18-23. Admit cards for NEET 2020 will be released 15 days prior to the exam.
