NEW DELHI - XAT 2021 exam will begin soon. Candidates who have successfully completed the registration process of XAT 2021 and have downloaded the admit card of the same will be allowed to appear for the exam. Those who will appear for the XAT 2021 exam, they would be required to strictly follow the instructions that are given in the hall ticket of XAT 2021.

NOTE: PwD candidates will get 20 minutes extra per hour, resulting in 55 minutes for Part 1 and 5 minutes for Part 2.
About the XAT 2021 question paper
The computer-based online exam will be in English only
All multiple choice questions (MCQs) have five options with a valid option
The question paper has a total of 100 questions
The XAT question paper consists of two bound areas:
Part 1 (165 minutes)
Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning (26 questions)
Decision Making (21 questions)
Quantitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation (28 questions)
Part 2 (15 minutes)
General Knowledge (25 questions)
Marks are awarded for each right answer: 1 mark
Marks reduced for every incorrect answer: 0.25 mark
Marks for each untried question after 8 untried questions: 0.10 marks
Negative marking does not apply to part 2 i.e. general knowledge questions.
At the top of the screen, the countdown timer on the right shows the remaining time.
After 165 minutes, the exam timer will reach zero, and part 1 will be locked. Candidates will be moved to Part 2, i.e. the General Knowledge section.
NOTE: Candidates are not allowed to leave the test lab before the end of the XAT test. The PwD candidate can leave the lab at any time within 180 to 240 minutes.
Instructions to follow at the XAT exam centre
The candidates have to follow the instructions that are given below:
The candidates must carry any of the below-mentioned valid photo ID proof along with the XAT 2021 admit card:
Aadhar Card
Voter ID Card
PAN Card
Valid College ID Card
Passport
Driving License
Employee ID Card
If a candidate finds any discrepancy in the admit card, then he/she must bring it to the notice of concerned authorities
No requests regarding the change in the exam centre will be entertained.
Candidates arriving after the 9:10 AM will not be permitted to enter into the XAT exam hall.
Candidates are advised to not dress gaudy but simple, wearing cardigans and sweaters without any pockets.
The candidates must not carry jewellery/mobile/ calculators/ or any other metal items.
The candidates will have to mandatorily go under a frisking activity. Any candidate raising an objection to it will be disqualified from appearing in XAT 2021.
Candidates will be allowed to log in on to their respective system 10 minutes prior to the commencement of the examination.
Guardians or parents will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
Candidates will be provided with the rough sheet and pen in the exam lab.
Once the examination is concluded, the candidates must submit their admit card and rough sheet to the invigilator.
