XAT 2021 - Tips to crack the exam

Given below expert tips can be followed by candidates to score good marks. The challenge in XAT 2021 for all candidates will be to manage time while simultaneously answering the questions accurately.

Know the exam pattern

The first and foremost step to crack any paper is to be familiar with the exam pattern. As per the exam pattern of XAT 2021, candidates will have to solve around 100 questions within a duration of 180 minutes. Moreover, there is negative marking involved hence the answers should be marked with accuracy.

Give Mock Test

To gauge and assess their level, candidates can give a XAT mock test. Through this, type of questions can be known and any changes in the preparation strategy can be incorporated.

Focus on strong areas

Since XAT 2021 is almost two months, candidates are advised to focus on major topics of XAT syllabus rather than emphasizing on all the topics. Remember to keep quality above quantity due to negative marking scheme.

Solve Practice Set

One of the best tips to crack the exam is through solving question paper practice sets. To have an idea as to what type of questions are likely to be asked, candidates can refer to the previous year question paper or sample papers. This helps them in improving their accuracy.

Set a Time Table

Give two hours daily to each section i.e. Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation, General Knowledge, Decision Making and Verbal and Logical Ability. Take break of 15-20 minutes in between each section to freshen up the mind.

Rest be assured and do not panic.
