CBSE Board Exam 2025 Live: CBSE Class 10 mathematics paper begins; exam analysis, answer key pdf soon

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has asked parents and students to remain vigilant against false claims about board exam paper leak on social media. The claims are 'baseless' and are intended to create panic amongst students and parents, the board said.

CBSE Class 10 mathematics 2025 marking scheme: 

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to issue a letter of appreciation to scribes for helping the Children with Special Needs (CWSN) candidates in board exams 2025 being held currently. As a part of the decision, the board has asked centre superintendents and schools to update the data of scribes on the online portal.

In a contrast to mutual reactions to the CBSE's announcement of holding board exams twice a year, a teacher told Careers360 that the exams should be held once only as the dual exams will overburden students, leaving them with less time to study and unable to take out time for co-curricular activities. 

CBSE Class 10 maths paper analysis 2025 will be available soon. The exam is being held for basic and standard levels from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. The CBSE Class 10 maths question paper comprises 38 questions carrying 80 marks. 

The Central Board of Secondary Education has started the CBSE Class 10 maths paper 2025 today at 10:30 am. The exam will be conducted for a duration of three hours from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.

CBSE Class 10 maths exam 2025 will be held from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm today. Once the exam ends, various coaching institutes will share CBSE Class 10 maths answer key 2025 based on expert analysis and student reactions. The question paper contains 38 questions and carries a total of 80 marks. 

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has closed the entry to the examination hall for CBSE Class 10 maths exam 2025 at 10 am. Students will be seated and given question paper next.

While talking to Careers360, some students appearing for CBSE Class 10 maths paper 2025 today expressed a bit of weakness in and fear for topics such as surface area and triangle. While the examinees said they are fully prepared, and worked on formula-based questions, many are expecting marks between 50 and 60 in the 80-mark exam.

As per CBSE passing marks 2025, students appearing for CBSE Class 10 mathematics paper 2025 are required to score at least 33 percent marks in the theory exam in order to clear the exam. 

Students appearing for CBSE Class 10 board exams 2025 will be allowed to carry the following items only to the exam hall:

• CBSE admit card 2025
• School ID
• Stationary items

Students are advised to reach at least 30 minutes before the commencement of CBSE Class 10 board exam 2025. 

CBSE Class 10 maths exam 2025 will be held for a total of 80 marks.

During CBSE Class 10 maths exam 2025, students will be given an additional 15 minutes to read the question paper and understand the questions.

• Students must reach the examination centre at least 30 minutes before exam.
• Do not carry any prohibited items in the examination hall, as it can lead to the cancellation of the exam
• Ensure carrying CBSE admit card 2025

As per CBSE 10th maths exam pattern 2025, the section-wise questions will be as follows:

• Section A has 20 multiple-choice questions carrying one mark each.
• Section B has five Very Short Answer (VSA)-type questions of two marks each.
• Section C has six Short Answer (SA) type questions of three marks each
• Section D has four Long Answer (LA)-type questions of five marks each
• Section E has three case-based questions of four marks each

The topics and unit-wise marks in CBSE 10th maths exam 2025 are given below.

• Number systems - 60
• Algebra - 20
• Coordinate geometry - 06
• Geometry - 15
• Trigonometry - 12
• Mensuration - 10
• Statistics and probability - 11

The duration of CBSE Class 10 maths exam 2025 is three hours.

As per exam timings, CBSE Class 10 mathematics exam 2025 will be conducted from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.
