Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur (XLRI) and Indian Foundation for Quality Management (IFQM) have signed an agreement to launch quality-management courses from June 2025. The elective programme will equip students with practical skills and an in-depth understanding of quality systems, and performance excellence.

According to an official statement, the partnership aims to introduce an optional course in quality management for postgraduate management students at XLRI. The initiative also seeks to enhance education standards, promote research and strengthen industry-academia collaboration across India.

Emphasising the need to stay abreast of the latest technologies in management studies, Sebastian George, SJ, director at XLRI Jamshedpur, said: “It’s a pleasure being with you all for this important collaboration with IFQM. As part of the collaboration, the quality management programme will include live projects, industrial visits, case studies based on real business scenarios, and expert-led classroom sessions, the XLRI stated.
