13 lakh students appear for the Bihar Class 12 board exam

NEW DELHI: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has conducted the Bihar Intermediate Exam 2024. The BSEB said 13,04,352 candidates appeared for the Bihar Class 12 Exam 2024 from February 1 to 12 at 1,523 exam centers across the state.

The board said district officers, including superintendent of police, district education officer, central superintendents, magistrates, inspectors, police personnel and nodal officers of the education department deputed to successfully conduct the Bihar Intermediate annual exams.

For the successful conduct and continuous monitoring of the Bihar Class 12 exam 2024, the board had established a 24-hour control room during the entire examination period and all types of complaints received through it were promptly resolved. Also, information could be exchanged and executed quickly through Whatsapp groups

The board said except.for the central superintendent of the centre, other deputed personnel or officers were prohibited from carrying mobile phones inside the examination centre. Besides, CCTV cameras were installed at the examination centres as per requirement and videographers were also arranged for every 500 candidates.

The BSEB had set up four model exam centres in each district i.e. 152 in the entire state, where the examinees were girl students. In the interest of the students, the board has given the option of 100% additional questions in all subjects. This year also the question paper was made available in 10 sets.

For successful and malpractice-free conduct of the examination, the state government was directed to ensure the sanctity of the examination at all costs by following the policy of zero tolerance.
