18 delegates from US visit Amity University's Noida campus; Discussion on pathway programmes held

NEW DELHI: Delegates from 18 universities of the United States visited the Noida campus of Amity University today on April 11, 2023. The delegation arrived at the Amity University to discuss and explore possible areas of collaboration and engagement with Amity Universities and institutions on articulation and pathway programmes, three continent and study abroad programmes, faculty exchange, offering dual and joint degrees, joint PhD and research initiatives and India immersion programmes.
The delegates belonged to Illinois Institute of Technology, Colorado State University, Virginia Commonwealth University, Iowa State University, Arizona State University, Full Sail University, Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis, DePaul University, University of Massachusetts Lowell, Rochester institute of Technology, University of Arizona, NYU Tandon school of engineering, University of New Haven, David Eccles school of business- University of Utah, Bradley University, New york film academy, University of Rochester and University of San Francisco. The universities offered scholarships to Amity University students and some with guaranteed jobs in the US. Illinois Institute of Technology offered to waive off GRE and TOEFL for Amity University students.

A statement from the university said that the delegation took a round of the Amity campus, along with senior officials of the university and were impacted by its infrastructure, facilities, and research and innovation opportunities provided to the students.
Amity group vice-chancellor Gurinder Singh, said: "When our students in Indian want to explore educational opportunities in the US, they look for friendliness, comfort, culture, and facilities offered by the universities, apart from the educational prospects, therefore Amity is looking forward to strengthening our relationships with US universities".
Founder president of Amity Education group, Ashok K Chauhan termed the visit of delegates as a game changer for Amity students which will help in their career progression, since students will be benefited from the 'Best of the West and Best of the East', which will change their life. He expressed his confidence in the students that with the outside experience of education, one can achieve anything in life.
