NEW DELHI: 26 of Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) researchers have been featured in the list of top two percent scientists worldwide by Stanford University. Eight professors made their way in both the lists of career-long and single year 2022.

Ali, Imran Ahsan, Haseeb Ghosh, Sushant G Rahman, Atiqur Ahmad, Sharif Ahmad, Tokeer Islam, Tarikul have been placed in both the lists.

In the single year list of top 2% scientists, Imran Haleem, Abid Javaid, Mohd Ghosh, Atiqur Ahsan, Haseeb Hassan, Md Imtaiyaz Ahmad, Rafiq Raza, Khalid Khan, Tabrez Alam Ahmad, Sharif Khan, M Ajmal Talukdar, Swapan Ahmad, Tokeer Chaudhry, Saif Ali, Rashid Ahmad, Musheer Siddiquee, Arshad Noor Patel, Rajan Riaz, Ufana Islam, Tarikul Mohammad, Taj Haque, Ahteshamul Khanuja, M Naqvi, Ahmad Abu Turab Anas, S M have been included.

Atiqur Sen and Anjan A Ahmad have been placed in the career-long list.

Ali has been featured in the field of analytical chemistry and received the 24th rank. His place in top 2% is 0.027542835% and he has published 325 papers. On the other hand, Anjan A Sen got a place in the nuclear and particle physics field and has been placed at 2243 rank. He has 27 papers on his name.

Last year, 21 researchers were featured in the Stanford University list including five professors who found a place in both the lists.
