NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025, as one of the primary gateway for BTech admissions 2025. According to the JEE Mains 2025 schedule, the session 1 exam will be conducted from January 22 to 31 while session 2 will be held from April 1 to 8.

Alongside JEE Main 2025, the SRM Institute of Science and Technology has also commenced registration for the SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) 2025. The deadline to fill out the SRMJEEE application form 2025 phase 1 is April 16, 2025. The SRMJEEE 2025 phase 1 exam is scheduled to be conducted from April 22 to 27.
Interested candidates can also apply for the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE). The deadline to register for the VITEEE 2025 entrance exam is March 31. The VITEEE 2025 exam is set to be conducted from April 21 to 27.
The Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has also extended the registration deadline for the Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering (AEEE) 2025 exam till January 20. Eligible candidates can apply for the AEEE 2025 exam through the official website, aeee.amrita.edu. As per the AEEE official schedule, the AEEE 2025 phase 1 exam will be held on February 1 and 2.
The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, conducts the BITS Admission Test (BITSAT) for undergraduate engineering admissions at its campuses in Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad. The official schedule for BITSAT 2025 has not yet been announced but is expected to be out soon.
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) also conducts the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) for admission to undergraduate courses in engineering, technology, pharmacy, etc, across universities, government, and self-financing institutes in West Bengal. The WBJEEB board will soon announce the exam schedule on its official website at wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee.

SATHEE, a collaborative initiative by IIT Kanpur and the Ministry of Education (MoE), has introduced a 45-day crash course specifically designed for JEE Main 2025 session 1 candidates. The cash course will begin from November 11.
Candidates with VITEEE 2025 rank upto 1 lakh will be eligible for counselling to all the four campuses, VIT-Vellore, VIT-Chennai, VIT-AP and VIT-Bhopal. However, VITEEE 2025 rank holders above 1 lakh will be eligible for counselling to VIT-AP and VIT-Bhopal campuses only.

The Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2025 is scheduled to be held on March 23, 2025.
The AEEE 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on February 1, 2, 2025. “Phase 1 of AEEE 2025 is scheduled on February 1 & 2. Candidates desirous of attending Phase 1 shall register by paying the application fees on or before Jan 20. It is mandatory to book the slot on or before the stipulated date and download the admit card. Admit card is mandatory to attend AEEE,” the university said in its latest announcement.
JEE Mains 2025 will be conducted in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

The reservation criteria for JEE Main 2025 are as follows:
General category belonging to Economically Weaker Section (GEN- EWS) – 10% of seats in every course.
Other Backward Classes belonging to the Non-Creamy Layer (OBC- NCL) – 27% of seats in every course.
Scheduled Caste (SC) – 15% of seats in every course. 4. Scheduled Tribe (ST) – 7.5% of seats in every course.
Persons with Disability/ Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwD, PwBD) – 5% seats in each of the General, GEN-EWS, OBC- NCL, SC and ST category seats.
