The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, has announced a special two-day registration window for candidates who missed applying for the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) 2026. This comes after the authorities received multiple requests from aspirants seeking another opportunity to register online. As per the latest notice, the window will remain open on April 15 and 16, 2026. However, candidates will have to pay an additional late fee of Rs 500 to complete the application process.

Before applying, candidates should ensure that they have generated their APAAR ID through DigiLocker. Only those candidates who were unable to register earlier are eligible to apply during this period. Candidates who have already registered for both attempts are not required to apply again. The second attempt of MHT CET 2026 will be conducted between May 10 and May 16 for both PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) and PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) groups. MHT CET phase 1 exam was conducted between April 11 to 20.

Since this is an extension provided by the CET Cell, candidates will not be provided with an option to edit their application. Therefore, they must fill in all details carefully and verify the information before final submission. Official notice reads, "Please note that no edit facility will be available for candidates registering during this extension period. Ensure all entered information is correct before submission."
