AEEE 2018 CBT commences; Last date of test is April 22

NEW DELHI, APRIL 19: Amrita University is conducting Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam (AEEE 2018) in online mode (computer-based test) from April 19 to 22. The entrance exam is the gateway to various undergraduate engineering programmes offered by the University at its three campuses.

All the registered candidates are advised to carry the admit card along with the vaild ID proof to the examination centre. If candidates fail to carry the admit card to the examination center, they will not be allowed to appear for exam. 

The question paper will be divided into three section- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The 2 hours 30 minutes long entrance exam will carry total of 100 multiple choice questions (Physics - 30, Chemistry -30, Mathematics – 40). Every question will have four option out of which candidates will have to choose the one right option.

Every correct answer will be given 3 marks, whereas, one mark will be deducted for every incorrect response. The total marks of the question paper would be 300 (Physics – 90, Chemistry – 90, Mathematics – 120). To make it feasible for candidates across the country, the language of the exam is English only.

Candidates appearing for the entrance exam must make sure that they adhere the instructions as given by the authorities. Mentioned below are the some exam day instructions that every candidate appearing for the entrance exam must follow:

• After the completion of entrance exam, candidates must not tamper or destroy their admit cards. Not only this, they should not alter any entry made in the admit card after it has been authenticated as it will be required during the admission process.
• Admit card is not transferable to any other person.
• Valid ID proof should be carried along with the admit card. This needs to be shown at the registration desk along with the admit card.
• At the registration desk, the identity of the candidate will be verified, hall ticket will be scanned, photograph will be captured and then a computer will be assigned.
• A rough sheet will be provided to every candidate at their workstation. All rough work has to be done in the provided paper sheet itself.
• No electronic gadgets are allowed inside the examination hall.
• Candidates who will attempt to tamper the computer system (either hardware or software) or found being a nuisance will be disqualified.

The AEEE offline exam will be conducted on April 28. Candidates will be able to check their result on May 5 in online mode. Candidates who will qualify the entrance exam will be able to participate further in the admission process.
