NEW DELHI: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has announced the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 1 result 2024 today, March 8. Candidates who appeared for the written examination can check the IAF AFCAT 2024 result through the official website, afcat.cdac.in.
Candidates have to use their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to download the AFCAT 1 result 2024. “AFCAT 01/2024 result has been declared and are available for viewing through individual login,” the official notification read.
The recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 317 vacancies in the deaprtment. The AFCAT 1 exam 2024 was conducted on February 16, 17 and 18, 2024 at various exam centres across the country. The examination was held in two shifts- from 10 am to 12 noon and from 3 pm to 5 pm.
The AFCAT 2024 exam was held for 2 hours duration. A total of 100 questions worth 300 marks were asked in the examination. All the questions were objective type and in English language. As per the marking scheme, 3 marks will be awarded for every correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

AFCAT 1 Result 2024: Cut-off marks
Candidates have to score 137 marks to qualify the AFCAT 1 examination 2024. Candidates can check the previous years cut-offs in the table given below-

Candidates who qualify the AFCAT 1 exam will be paid a fixed stipend of Rs 56,100 per month for the duration of their training. Candidates who become an officer in the flying branch will get a salary of Rs 85,372 per month. While in Ground Duty (technical branch) will get the salary of Rs 74,872 per month and in Ground Duty (non-technical branch) the salary will be around Rs 71,872 per month.
