NEW DELHI: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has announced the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2 result 2024, as per reports. Candidates who appeared for the examination can check the IAF AFCAT 2 2024 result through the official website, afcat.cdac.in.
Candidates have to use their login credentials such as registration number and password to download the AFCAT 2 result 2024. The IAF conducted the AFCAT 2 exam 2024 from August 9 to 11. The exam was held in two shifts each day. The first shift took place from 10 am to 12 pm, and the second shift was held from 3 pm to 5 pm.
The AFCAT 2 2024 result includes key details such as the candidate's registration number, name, exam name, cut-off marks, and the marks scored. Additionally, the result features a congratulatory note, information about the AFSB (Air Force Selection Board) selection process, and instructions for booking the AFSB selection slot.
The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 304 posts for ground duty (non-technical and technical) and gazetted officers in flying branches. Candidates who qualify the written test will be invited for the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) interview. The final selection process will have multiple stages, including the written exam, AFSB interview, medical examination, and final selection based on overall performance.
As per the AFCAT 2 marking scheme, candidates are awarded 3 marks for each correct answer, while 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect response. No marks are given or deducted for questions left unattempted.
