AHSEC revises HS 1st year, 2nd year syllabus from 2023-24 academic session

Check NowNEW DELHI: The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has revised the Higher Secondary first and second-year syllabus. The new syllabus will be implemented from the 2023–24 academic session.
The official notice reads: "It is notified to all concerned Principals/Registrars of the institutions having H.S. Course under AHSEC that, the AHSEC has revised the syllabi of the following subjects (both HS. 1" & 2nd year) and same will be implemented from the Academic Session 2023-24."

AHSEC has changed the syllabus for a total of 14 subjects which include Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Business Studies, Geography, Sociology, Economics, Accountancy, Psychology, Political Science, Alternative English, Finance, and Anthropology.
As per the official notice, the syllabus of alternative English, finance, and anthropology is only revised for the second year. However, the rest of the subjects will be for both HS first and second years.
The revised syllabus for Higher Secondary of AHSEC is available for download on the official website, ahsec.assam.gov.in.
