Fake notice on AIAPGET 2023 postponement circulating on social media: NTA

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) clarified that the notice on postponement of the All India Ayush Postgraduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2023 circulating on social media is fake. NTA said that the exam will be conducted on the scheduled date, July 31.

“It has come to the notice of National Testing Agency (NTA) that a fake Public Notice dated 16.07.2023 with the subject line - Postponement of All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Examination (AIAPGET)–2023 is being circulated through various sources and social media forums,” NTA said in an official notice.

The testing agency informed candidates that no such decision has been taken on the exam till date and warned students against fake information. “Public is further being advised to be aware of any fake misguiding communication in this regard and rely only on the information available at the official website www.nta.ac.in and aiapget.nta.nic.in,” it said.

Earlier, NTA had announced that the internship completion date for the AIAPGET 2023 exam has been extended from August 31 to October 31. NTA arrived at the decision after receiving a letter from the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM).

The registration for AIAPGET 2023 ended on June 24 and the last date to submit the fee was June 25. Candidates were able to edit the application form between June 26 and 28.

AIAPGET 2023 will be conducted for a duration of two hours for admission to postgraduate programmes in Ayurveda, Siddhi, Unani, and Homeopathy (AYUSH).
