AIAPGET 2024 Round 2 Seat Allotment Result: What's next?

In the AIAPGET 2024 seat allotment process, candidates will have three options for managing their allotted seats: Freeze, Slide, and Float. Here's a breakdown of each option:

  1. Freeze: By choosing the "freeze" option, the candidate accepts the seat allotted to them and does not wish to be considered for further rounds of seat allotment. The candidate locks the seat and agrees to take admission in the allotted college and course. They cannot participate in future rounds of seat allotment.

  2. Slide: The "slide" option allows the candidate to keep the allotted seat but be considered for a better option within the same institution. If a seat in a preferred course within the same college becomes available, the candidate will be shifted to that program. If not, they retain their current seat.

  3. Float: The "float" option enables the candidate to accept the current seat while still being open to a better seat in a different institution in future rounds. The candidate holds onto the current seat but may be offered an upgraded seat in another college, based on availability in subsequent rounds.
