NEW DELHI: The Bar Council of India (BCI) will announce the All India Bar Examination 19 (AIBE 19) results on its official website at allindiabarexamination.com, in a few days. As per the previous years trends, the BCI is expected to declare the AIBE 19 results in the last week of March, 2025.
Once declared, candidates will be able to download the AIBE 19 results by visiting the official portal and typing their login credentials such as application number and password.
Notably, the Supreme Court of India passed an order, allowing the final year law students to appear for the AIBE examination.
The BCI released the AIBE 19 final answer key on March 6 in which the council dropped 28 questions. The AIBE 19 results will be based on the final answer key.
The AIBE 19 exam was held on December 22 in a single shift from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. The question paper comprises 100 marks where candidates were awarded one mark for each correct response. There was no negative marking for incorrect answers.
For general and Other Backward Classes (OBC) category candidates, the passing marks to qualify the AIBE 19 exam is 45% while candidates, belonging to the Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Scheduled Caste (SC) categories, need to obtain 40% marks in order to qualify the AIBE 19 exam.
The BCI conducts the AIBE exam every year to assess the eligibility of graduates to practice law in India. After the exam, the council will issue a Certification of Practice (CoP) to the qualified candidates. The CoP is the gateway for candidates to practice law in India.
