AIBE 21 Exam 2026 LIVE: BCI XXI paper tomorrow; shift timings, guidelines, dress code

The Bar Council of India (BCI) will conduct the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 21 tomorrow, June 7, 2026. The AIBE XXI exam 2026 will be conducted in a single shift from 1:30 pm to 4 pm. Candidates can download the AIBE 21 admit card through the official website at allindiabarexamination.com.

As per the AIBE exam time duration, candidates will have to report to their respective examination centres by 11:30 am. Entry to the examination centre will not be allowed after 1:15 pm. For PwD candidates, the AIBE 21 exam will end at 4:20 pm.

BCI has issued the AIBE 21 hall ticket 2026 on May 23. Candidates who are going to appear for the AIBE 21 exam 2026 can download the hall ticket from the AIBE admit card login portal at allindiabarexamination.com.

As per the AIBE passing mark, General and OBC candidates need 45% to pass, while SC/ST and specially abled candidates need 40%.

AIBE 21 exam pattern

As per the AIBE 21 exam pattern, the exam will be conducted for 2 and a half hours. It will be held in offline, pen-and-paper mode to test whether law graduates are eligible to practise law in India.

The AIBE exam will have 100 multiple-choice questions, with each question carrying one mark, and candidates must score at least 45 marks out of 100 to pass the AIBE 21 exam 2026.

The AIBE 21 exam will be held in 11 languages, including Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu.

AIBE XXI exam guidelines

The council has banned electronic devices and other unauthorised items like mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, bags, books, notes, and papers inside the exam hall. However, candidates can bring blank sheets of paper, but they must not contain any notes or writing on them.

As per the AIBE 21 guidelines, candidates are required to use only blue or black ballpoint pens to mark answers on the OMR sheet. Pencils are not allowed, and using them may lead to disqualification. Candidates must also carefully fill in details like roll number and question paper code.
