AICTE launches DRISYAM, IVRS portal to provide stakeholders enhanced ease of doing business

The portals have real-time information for various schemes of AICTE to visualize the data for facilitating better decision-making and policy in future.

NEW DELHI: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) launched DRISYAM (Dashboard Reporting In Systematic Analysis and Monitoring) and IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System) on February 22, 2023.

The heads of the institutions and faculty members joined the session, through online mode. Professor T G Sitharam, Chairman, AICTE appreciated the efforts of the e-governance cell for launching two new initiatives.

Professor TG Sitharam, Chairman, AICTE, said, “These two significant e-governance initiatives were launched towards providing enhanced ease of doing business experience to the stakeholders of AICTE. The inaugural session was attended by the senior officers of AICTE, academicians and other stakeholders of AICTE in an event held in blended mode."

"It has complete statistical overview and data visualization for the purpose of monitoring performances, creation of reports and projecting future course of action and plans through the insight by means of visual representations of performance of various initiatives of AICTE and this is a fervent attempt by AICTE to make great strides in the field of Educational Development by fixating on transparency when it comes to concerned stakeholders,” he further added.

AICTE's Vice-Chairman, Abhay Jere, said, "It has real-time data for various schemes of AICTE for different stakeholders to visualize the data for facilitating better decision-making and policy in future. He also emphasized that the IVRS system being launched today will be profusely helpful for the users to seek the answer for their query through the automated telephony system. This initiative is a step in our endeavour to create transparency and ease of disseminating information.”

Professor Rajive Kumar, Member Secretary, AICTE also graced the launching ceremony and said that the huge data available with AICTE may be helpful in providing useful insight through DRISYAM and be helpful in implementing NEP 2020 more effectively.

The welcome address was delivered by Dr R K Soni, Adviser 2, AICTE. The vote of thanks was given by Dr Nikhil Kant, Deputy Director, AICTE. A demonstration was also given by Manoj Singh, Assistant Director, AICTE on the functioning of DRISYAM and IVRS.
