AICTE Scholarship 2021 registration deadline extended till December 15

NEW DELHI: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has extended the last date for online registration for various scholarships till December 15. Candidates who are eligible can apply for AICTE Pragati Scholarship for Girl Students (technical degree and diploma), AICTE Saksham Scholarship for specially-abled students (technical degree and diploma), and AICTE SWATH Scholarship for technical degree and diploma.

Candidates can register for the scholarships worth Rs 50,000 per annum at the National Scholarship Portal (NSP), scholarships.gov.in, and AICTE web portal. The last date for applying for these AICTE scholarships was November 30, however, the deadline has been extended now.

The AICTE has given details of the portals for each scheme in the new notice. “The students may submit their fresh and renewal applications at the respective portal. The students are advised to submit their application well in time so that their institutions are able to verify the applications within the prescribed timeline,” it said.

The extended last date for first level of verification of applications (fresh and renewal cases) by institutions including re-submitted defective applications and second level of verification (Fresh & Renewal cases) by State Nodal Officers is December 31, 2021, and January 15, 2022 respectively.
