New Delhi, May 24: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has issued an exam day advisory for candidates who will be appearing in the AIIMS MBBS 2019 entrance exam on May 25-26. The advisory includes a slew of guidelines related to dress code, documents to carry on exam day, barred items, and general code of conduct. As per the advisory, these guidelines are meant to ensure confidentiality, integrity and fairness of the exam. Further, they will also prevent the adoption of unfair practices like impersonation and cheating inside the exam hall.

The advisory also states that candidates have to mandatorily undergo frisking; any candidate who refuses to be frisked will not be allowed to sit in the exam.
Synopsis of guidelines listed in advisory released by AIIMS New Delhi
Candidates need take a printout of the AIIMS MBBS 2019 admit card - it was released online on May 15. Please note that only original printout, and not photocopies, will be accepted. Admit cards can be downloaded at aiimsexams.org
Visit the exam centre a day in advance to learn about location, travel time, etc.
Follow the reporting time mentioned on the admit card. Please note that no candidate will be allowed to enter the exam venue after Entry Closing Time.
Apart from the admit card, candidates also need to carry with them a valid photo ID proof (it should be the same as opted during registration and indicated in the admit card) and two passport-size photographs.
While no specific dress code is prescribed for the exam, candidates are advised to dress responsibly. That being said items like caps, hats, scarves, and similar headgear as well as thick-soled footwear, goggles, and large metallic buttons are not allowed.
Ornaments are also not allowed. Also on the not-allowed list are items like any type of electronic gadgets, pen, pencil, papers, books, and bottles.
Also, AIIMS officials may not make provisions for safe keeping of any kind of baggage. So, candidates are requested to come prepared.
Rough work should be done on the back of admit cards and rough sheets provided at the exam hall. Once the exam is over, the admit card and rough sheet should be returned; if not returned, the question paper of the concerned candidate will not be evaluated.

A brief on AIIMS MBBS 2019 exam
The national-level exam AIIMS MBBS 2019 exam is conducted by AIIMS New Delhi for admission to 1207 MBBS seats (including 7 seats for foreign nationals) across its 15 AIIMS institutes. The exam will be computer-based and include objective type questions.
The result of AIIMS MBBS 2019 will be declared June 12. Candidates who qualify in the exam will be called for counselling. The allotment of seats during counselling will be based on both the merit rank of the candidate and also college opted for admission.
