Try NowNEW DELHI, MAY 24: AILET 2018 Result has been declared today, for admissions to five-year integrated law programmes. The National Law University Delhi upon announcing the result of All India Law Entrance Test has shortlisted a total of 73 test takers for the BA LLB admissions. The 6 th May NLU Delhi BA LLB admission test was appeared by 17,475 AILET applicants.
Among the 73 shortlisted candidates, 50 belong to General Category, 11 and 5 from Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Categories, respectively. Besides these, four specially-abled candidates, one Kashmiri Migrant and two Jammu & Kashmir residents are also included in the first BA LLB admission list.
Out of the 83 BA LLB seats on offer in NLU Delhi, 10 are reserved for candidates who applied under Foreign National Category.
Who’re the toppers?
Devansh Kaushik bagged AIR 1 in AILET 2018, scoring 98.25 marks. The second spot was taken by Harshita Gupta who scored 84 marks in AILET 2018. Anmol Gupta (83.75 marks), Shikhar Aggarwal (83 marks) and Darsan Guruvayurappan (81.75 marks) ranked third, fourth and fifth, respectively.

The change in cutoff
The AILET cutoff for this year has shown a significant dip.
The AILET 2018 takers needed to score more than 71.25 marks to secure admissions into BA LLB programme in the National Law University Delhi. Surprisingly, the AILET cutoff for General Category has dipped by 17.75 points as compared to last year.
Further, the Scheduled Caste Category candidates needed to score at least 49.5 out of 150 marks to get an admission in the undergraduate law programmes in the NLU. The SC Category Cutoff too has dipped by as much as 21.5 marks this year.

What after AILET result?
The AILET 2018 takers shortlisted for admissions to BA LLB programmes in the NLU Delhi will be sent an admission letter to their respective registered residential addresses as well as mail ids. The AILET 2018 shortlisted candidates will have to deposit the admission fees by June 13, 2018.
On failing to do so, the allotted seats to the respective candidates will automatically stand cancelled and the seat will be transferred to the next candidate in merit.
AILET – The NLU Delhi admission test
The National Law University Delhi offers admissions to 83 seats under BA LLB programme through the admission test, All India Law Entrance Test, commonly known as AILET.
The exam was held this year on May 6. The NLU Delhi BA LLB admission test was appeared by as many as 17,475 applicants out of a total 18,650, those applied for AILET 2018.
