The National Law University, Delhi has released the AILET 2023 answer key today, December 12, 2022. The AILET answer key is available online on its official website - nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The AILET answer key download link is given below. The university conducted the AILET 2023 exam on December 11, 2022, from 11 am to 12:30 pm. Candidates can use the provisional answer key of AILET 2023 to calculate their marks in the examination.

Was AILET 2023 tough?
The AILET exam 2023 was held for admission to BA LLB, LLM and PhD programmes, in around 39 exam cities across the country. According to the students, AILET 2023 was slightly difficult and lengthy. All of the questions were asked from comprehension passages in English and logical reasoning. Logical reasoning was the most difficult section, followed by English comprehension, and vocabulary. The general knowledge section was easy and straightforward. It can thus become a decisive factor.

What are the Categories of Enrollment for Ph.D at NLU, Delhi?
Categories of enrolment for Ph.D at NLU, Delhi are:
- Full time enrolment: The candidate shall put in a minimum of three-years residence of which at least 18 months shall be in NLU Delhi.
- Part time enrolment: A part-time candidate shall put in a minimum of four years of part-time study.
Note: Conversion from either part-time to full-time or from full-time to part-time will be permitted. Enrolment for the Ph.D. shall be deemed to have lapsed after six years from the date of enrolment.

As per the official notification by NLU, Delhi, due to paucity of rooms in the hostel, the National Law University, Delhi shall not be able to provide the hostel facilities to the newly admitted students of B.A.LL.B.(Hons.) and LLM Programmes from Delhi/NCR. However, students from outside Delhi/ NCR may be considered for allotment of hostel accommodation subject to availability. Allotment of hostel cannot be claimed as a matter of right.

AILET exam - First reaction
According to the students, AILET 2023 was moderately difficult this year. Except for general knowledge, most of the other sections were slightly difficult. Among all sections, logical reasoning was the most difficult section.

CLAT 2023 Previous Year Papers
Candidates appearing in CLAT 2023 must practice previous year papers and sample paper issued by the consortium. It will help them to ace the exam with ease.
The CLAT 2023 will be conducted on December 18, 2022 and the provisional answer key for CLAT 2023 will be issued on the same day of exam i.e. December 18, 2022. Candidates can raise objections to it until December 19, 2022. The final answer key will be released on December 25, 2022.

AILET OMR sheet instructions
- As the OMR Response Sheet is carbonized, the candidates shall detach the second page (carbon copy) of OMR Response Sheet and keep it with them for reference along with used Question Booklet.
- The first page of OMR Response Sheet (Original) and Answer Booklet shall be submitted to the invigilator at the end of the Entrance Test. 10.
- The OMR Response Sheet should be handled carefully by the candidates. Candidates are advised not to fold, wrinkle, tear or staple the Response Sheet under any circumstances.
- The candidates are advised not to scribble or make any mark on the OMR Response Sheet except marking the answers at the appropriate places and filling up the details required.
- Any violation of these instructions will automatically lead to the invalidation of the OMR Response Sheet.
- Fill up information and darken all the Relevant Circles on the OMR Answer Sheet carefully.
- A second blank OMR Response Sheet will not be given. Only in exceptional cases, which are approved by the Observer, the entire Sealed Plastic Envelope containing the Question Booklet, Answer Booklet and OMR Response Sheet shall be replaced. Handle the OMR Response Sheet carefully.

AILET Logical reasoning difficulty level
The Logical reasoning section included the questions from critical, analytical and legal reasoning in the last year AILET exam. With around 40 questions, the primary emphasis was placed on critical reasoning, and the section was highly conceptual. The questions in critical reasoning were mostly statement and para-based, covering the topics like assumption and conclusion. In addition, the analytical section was spread over 20 questions, wherein the questions were asked from syllogism or data arrangement sets. Lastly, the remaining questions were on legal aptitude, which was very easy.

General knowledge section in the last year question paper mainly comprised current affairs of the previous years, with very few questions on Legal and General knowledge. As per the previous trend, this section's difficulty level was comparatively easy. The section was a piece of cake for the students who had thoroughly covered the current affairs in the newspaper during their preparation.

In last year question paper, English section was more inclined toward reading comprehensive patterns. This made the section quite lengthy with a diverse range of genres. Although there were some question which were out-of-the-box , the overall difficulty level of the section was on the easier end.

Last year, the students faced an element of surprise while attempting the question paper. As the pattern was changed, the arrangement of questions startled the students a bit. However, the majority of the sections were still added to the examination, with Mathematics being an exception. English and Logical reasoning section were lengthy compared to the previous years, but the overall difficulty of the paper was easy to moderate.

Questions asked in English, and general knowledge were moderate to easy, but questions in legal aptitude and reasoning were tricky and time taking.
