The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the results for the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2026 on its official website at exams.nta.nic.in. The AISSEE 2026 scorecard can be downloaded using the login credentials such as application number and password.
The AISSEE 2026 was conducted on January 18 in a paper-pen format at 464 exam centres in 190 cities across India. The school admission test was held for admission to Class 6 and 9 in Sainik Schools or New Sainik Schools.
“The eligibility criteria, self-declaration and other documents required to be submitted by the eligible candidates invited for counselling shall be verified as per the prescribed norms at subsequent stages of the admission process,” NTA said in an official notification.

AISSEE 2026: Cut-offs, admission process
As per the previous years’ trends, the AISSEE 2026 cut-offs are expected to be higher. Students will be allocated schools on the basis of rank and preferences.
The AISSEE 2026 scorecard includes students’ total marks, subject-wise performance, and qualifying status.
The final selection for admission to Classes 6 and 9 at Sainik Schools will be based on school-wise and category-wise merit lists, with cut-off marks each for general, OBC, SC, ST, and Defence quotas.
The merit will be determined out of 300 marks for Class 6 and 400 for Class 9.
Students will be admitted to Sainik Schools and New Sainik School through e-counselling mode. “Any query with regard to admission process may be forwarded to the email ID admission.sss@gov.in,” NTA said.
