Allahabad University: The teaching activities across all departments and centres will be held in online mode on November 4 and 5

The University of Allahabad (UoA) has announced that teaching activities across all its departments and centres will be held in online mode on November 4 and 5. However, the university has not announced the reason for the temporary change in the mode of conducting classes.
According to the Allahabad University’s notice, issued by the university's registrar, faculty members have been instructed to conduct classes online on both days, following the prescribed timetable. All faculty are required to deliver their online lectures from their designated university departments or centers, adhering strictly to the schedule.
The university has also not said whether the online teaching arrangement will continue beyond November 5.
“It is hereby notified that teaching in all the Departments and Centres of the University shall be conducted in online mode on November 4 and 5. Faculty members are required to conduct classes from their respective Departments and Centres as per the prescribed timetable,” the AU notice said.
The notification, issued with the approval of the competent authority, has been sent to all deans, heads of departments, directors, coordinators and other university officials.
Students are required to attend their scheduled classes online on both days. However, the notification gives no further details about which online platforms should be used, nor does it mention any changes to other academic activities.
