AMU admission 2022 for UG programmes through CUET begins

NEW DELHI: Aligarh Muslim University has started the admission process for UG programmes through Common University Entrance Test (CUET). AMU is offering admission to eight courses through CUET.

To apply for these UG programmes in AMU, candidates need to register for the CUET. Candidates can fill and submit the CUET application form in online mode at cuet.samarth.ac.in till May 6.

The application process of AMU admission 2022 includes registration, filling details in application form, uploading documents and payment of fee.

The university’s academic council earlier approved the following recommendations:

• As it has been doing for the past few years, AMU will conduct its own counselling.

• Candidates from the Madaris or institutions recognized by AMU as per procedure can also take admission based on CUET score if they fulfil the eligibility conditions mentioned in the Guide to Admission of AMU.

• Students who have graduated from the AMU Bridge Course (CEPECAMI) will be eligible for admission based on their CUET scores, if they fulfil the required conditions laid out by AMU.

Steps to apply for AMU admission 2022 through CUET

Step 1 . Go to the official website of CUET at cuet.samarth.ac.in.

Step 2. Select the register tab.

Step 3. Add email Id and mobile number at the admission portal.

Step 4. Add login and personal details to complete the registration process.

Step 5. Upload the documents in the exact size mentioned by the NTA.

Step 6. Enter the address and education details in the application form.

Step 7. Pay the application fee in online mode.

Step 8. Preview and submit the application form for future reference.

The CUET 2022 entrance exam will be conducted in two shifts in the first and second week of July. The CUET 2022 exam will be conducted in 13 languages in 547 cities within India and in 13 cities outside of India.
