NEW DELHI: The Anant National University (ANU) launches India’s first multilingual design entrance test Anant Design Entrance and Proficiency Test (ADEPT) to be conducted in 10 langauges. The ADEPT entrance exam will be held online on January 26, 2025.
The entrance test is to be conducted in 10 languages including English, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Punjabi.
Anant National University has taken a significant step by offering ADEPT in 10 languages this year. Last year, Anant National University set a record by introducing ADEPT in five languages.
The initiative inspired by the philosophy of Ajay Piramal the president of Anant National University, “design goes beyond language,” aimed to offer opportunities for students across the country.

According to the Anant University official statement, the University continues to set standards in design education and promote a new generation of impact-driven designers ready to address global challenges.
The expansion reflects Anant’s vision to promote learning environment where students can pursue their passions and contribute meaningfully to society through design.
